Come and visit the lovely village of Hanley Swan and enjoy 16 eclectic gardens during the May Bank Holiday weekend
Although it is early in the year, you will find the Hanley Swan Open Gardens blooming and everyone very welcoming, as you wander around our friendly village. The event is well organised and supported by many enthusiastic gardeners who feel privileged to open their gardens over the May Bank Holiday Weekend. The £7.50 ticket you purchase will give you access to the 3 days, so you can return if you wish at any time. If you only want to attend the Flower Festival at St Gabriel’s Church the price is £3.

Hanley Swan is an idyllic English village with all the requisite hallmarks:
Village green
Picturesque duck pond
Royal size oak tree
Village pub
Village Shop
The village is overlooked by the spectacular Malvern Hills and the lovely Victorian town of Great Malvern is just 5 miles away.
Over the May Bank Holiday weekend, the whole village enthusiastically invites YOU and your family to share our good fortune and join our annual ‘Open Gardens‘ event. Most years we complement the open gardens with craft shows and other fun events, based at St. Gabriel’s Church and this year we are celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
There are 16 eclectic village gardens open this year spread across the extended village and this year you can also enjoy our sumptuous flower arrangments fit for a Queen.
If you manage to visit all the gardens you will have walked a good 3 miles or you can drive from one end of the village to the other using the various car parks listed on the leaflet. Dogs are welcome, but please check with each garden owner before entering with your dog.
The charge for a 3-day pass is £7.50 and as long as you retain your sticker, you will be able to return each day.
You can purchase tickets on the day at any of the gardens or pre order online NOW

Map of the Hanley Swan Gardens
This map is not to scale so you may want to drive to some of the further flung gardens. If you are walking you will cover around 3 miles and we recommend you use the footpath between Gilberts End, Picken End and Roberts End. This is a map from last year.
If you would like to stay in Hanley Swan over this fun-packed weekend contact Orchard Side Bed and Breakfast who will, in fact, be showing their gardens that weekend.
