Hanley Swan Open Gardens

Come and visit a medley of 17 great gardens during May Bank Holiday weekend at the Hanley Swan Open Gardens.

Although it is early in the year, you will find the Hanley Swan Open Gardens blooming and everyone very welcoming, as you wander around our friendly village. The event is well organised and supported by many enthusiastic gardeners who feel privileged to open their gardens over the May Bank Holiday Weekend from 12 pm to 5 pm. The £6 ticket you purchase will give you access to the 3 days, so you can return if you wish at any time.

Hanley Swan is an idyllic English village, with all the requisite hallmarks:

  • A Village green
  • A beautiful duck pond with lots of friendly ducks
  • Harold the resident Heron
  • Royal size Oak Tree
  • Village Pub – The Swan Inn
  • Village Shop

.. all overlooked by the beautiful Malvern Hills and the lovely Victorian town of Great Malvern.

Over the May Bank Holiday weekend, the whole village enthusiastically invites YOU and your family to share our good fortune and join our annual ‘Open Gardens‘ event. Most years we complement the open gardens with craft shows and other fun events, based at St. Gabriel’s Church.

There are 17 open gardems spread around the extended village.

If you manage to visit all the gardens you will walk around 3 miles or you can drive from one end of the village to the other using the various car parks listed on the leaflet. Dogs are welcome, but please check with each garden owner before entering with your dog.

The charge for a 3-day pass is £6 and as long as you retain your sticker, you will be able to return each day.
